Wandering through the outskirts of the city of Jedddah, Saudi Arabia I came across this mysterious house. More like the ruins of it. I found it very difficult to learn anything about this place and its owner. The maps gives us the name Abdullah Omar Batwil. Who is this person?
No restriction to access the premises and the inside of this dilapidated house so I decided to enter. It looked like it had been abandoned quite a while ago. We see it had somehow become a meeting place for locals to socialise and/or have a picnic. Litter scattered around, old and damaged furniture and rumble make you wonder what the true story behind this eerie building.
Walking towards the entrance a taxi pulled over to offer some assistance. The encounter resulted in making arrangements to take me to the airport the next day but even he wouldn’t be able to solve the mystery behind the house.
