Mafika Lisiu Pass, Lesotho

One of the highest roads of the country, Mafika Lisiu Pass is a mountain pass at 3.090m or 10,137ft above sea level. Located in the northern part of Lesotho, Mafika offers amazing views of alpine-type flora. The road to the summit was built in the 90s of the XX century and crosses the Maloti Range. The pass is located between Pitseng and Lejeune and leads to the Ketsa Dam.

At the top of the pass is the Bokong Nature Reserve, the highest nature reserve in Africa accessible by car.
